Fundraising Stories Anna and Eliza's Story - No Thumbs Challenge Anna, Eliza and their friends were 12-13 when they ran a fundraiser to purchase equipment for the Mustard Seed Global mobile HIV-Aids clinic. The clinic often treated people in the jungle without a covered area to see patients and was in need of a tent, chairs and other equipment. Imagine trying to treat or test people in the pouring rain or blazing tropical heat! Their idea was simple - they would not use their thumbs for a day in exchange for donations. The girls announced their fundraiser at their church and school, and asked people to spread the word. Some donations were made in cash, and others came as an EFT transfer to the Mustard Seed Global account (which the girls provided). The girls raised $1800 and Mustard Seed Global was able to purchase equipment that increased our impact with people in desperate need. Set Up A Fundraising Page
